Wilmington, Delaware - Mitchell’s Store to Close

The Fairfax family owned business called Mitchell’s Trains, Toys, and Hobbies is now planning to close at the end of October 2008. The store has seen a continued decline in store sales over the last 7 years. The store has been open for the past 55 years, but today begins its going out of business as it liquidates its inventory. The downturn in the economy that has forced Boscov to claim bankruptcy has forced Mitchell’s to close its doors.
